Alicetine Miller Lisenby

Alicetine Miller Lisenby, 90, of Wallace, Ala., died Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at a local hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Lisenby was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Baldwin County, Ala. A lifelong resident of Wallace, she was a member of the Wallace Baptist Church and attended Wallace School. She had retired as a seamstress with Vanity Fair after 35 years of service and enjoyed several hobbies.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Aubrey Wilson and Rev. Freddie Lindsey officiating. Burial followed at Wallace Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Lisenby is survived by two sons, Steve (Elaine) Lisenby and Ricky (Sue) Lisenby, both of Brewton; one daughter, Judy Lisenby (Pete) Capps of Milton, Fla.; one brother, Donnie Miller of Brewton; two sisters, Alma Jean Blackwell and Betty Jean Wooten, both of Wallace; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
