Brewton, Flomaton Lions Clubs to hold pancake suppers

Spring fundraisers to be held Feb. 29 and March 2 to benefit area Lions Clubs

Both the Brewton and Flomaton Lions Clubs are gearing up for their spring pancake fundraisers in February and March and invite the community to come out and be a part of fun events, both serving a good cause.

The Brewton Lions Club will host a Family Pancake Breakfast featuring Conecuh sausage from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, at David's Catfish House, located at 24 The Trails in Brewton.

The cost of $5 a plate for dine in or take out and children under 6 eat free.

The Flomaton Lions Club will have a Pancake Supper from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 2, at the Flomaton Community Center, located at 628 McCurdy St.

Tickets are $5 each at the door and can also be purchased from a Flomaton Lions Club member. The proceeds will benefit the Flomaton High School LEO Scholarship Fund.

The Lions is a service organization that helps communities and individuals. Fundraisers help raise money that will be returned to the area through projects and events, such as sight screenings, assistance to families in need and many others.
