Richard Dewayne Davis

Richard Dewayne Davis, 61, of Century, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Sacred Heart Hospital from injuries he sustained in a car accident.

Mr. Davis was born in Pensacola, but lived most of his life in Century, Fla. He worked as a self-employed painter and tattoo artist. An avid fisherman, he attended Abundant Life Church in Century.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Christian Home Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Linda Davis of Bratt, Fla; three daughters, Ashley (Chris) Johnson of Montgomery, Ala., Becky Adkins of Atmore and Machalle Adkins of Atmore; his siblings, Susie (Shane) Adams of Flomaton, Skinny (Jimmy) Morris, Betty (Walter) Porz, and Pat (Sherman) Glover, all of Byrneville, Fla., Rocky (Brenda) Davis of Lafayette, Ala., Mary Carroll of Michigan, Jim (Patti) Wolters of Atlanta, Ga. and Reggie (Susie) Palmer of Mississippi; and one grandchild.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Ted T. and Bernestine Holland Davis.
