Stanley Keith Pope, Sr., 66, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 in McCullough, Ala.
Mr. Pope was a native of Pensacola and former resident of Canoe, Ala. who had resided in McCullough for the past 21 years. Owner of S and S Farm Services and former mechanic at Roger's Tractor Company in Atmore, he was a member of Healing Waters Church in Bay Minette, where he served an as elder.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Petty-Eastside Chapel with Pastor Richard Daniels officiating. Burial followed at McCullough Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Pope is survived by his wife of 27 years, Eugenia Hanks Pope of McCullough; two sons, Stanley Keith (Kandy) Pope, Jr., of Nokomis and Matthew Mason Dodge of McCullough; one daughter, Stephanie Grey (Terrell, Sr.) Still of McCullough; three brothers, Arngie (Alieen) Pope, Jr. of Pensacola, Jerry (Susan) Pope of Tennessee and Rusty (Sondra) Pope of Pensacola; one sister, Julie (Mike) Winchell of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Pope was preceded in death by his parents, Arngie and Ruby Lee Hinson Pope; and one sister, Betsy June Pope Tyree.
