Earlene Killam Hayles, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, in Century.

Mrs. Hayles was a native of Byrneville, Fla. who had resided in Lottie, Ala. since 1954. Founder of the Lottie Quilting Club, she worked in the cafeteria at Perdido School and owned a catering business. She attended Lottie Methodist Church.

The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Judd Coghin officiating. Burial followed at Lottie Methodist Church with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
