Mary June Townson, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, in Enterprise, Ala.
Mrs. Townson was a native
of Canoe, Ala. and former longtime resident of Atmore who had resided in Enterprise for the past two months. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, at Petty-Eastside Chapel with Rev. Angelo Thomley and Bro. Michael Hadley officiat- ing. Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Townson is survived by three daughters, Tammy Woods of Enterprise and Sherry Lambert and Diane (Artie) Godwin, both of Evergreen, Ala.; one brother, Bobby (Mary) Weeks of Saraland, Ala.; three sisters, Wanda (Johnny) Mosley of Andalusia, Ala., Glenda Godwin of Oak Grove, Fla. and Betty (Braxton) Thomley of Perdido, Ala.; 13 grandchil- dren; and 21 great-grandchil- dren.
Mrs. Townson was preced- ed in death by her husband, Charles Townson; her par- ents, Burl Weeks and Louise Henderson; one brother, Robert Weeks; and one sister, Frances Ledkins.
