Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth Williams, 73, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019.

Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 14, 1946, to Julius Powe and Rosie Mae Mims, in Camden, Ala. She attended Escambia County Training School and was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Holiness Church under Apostle Robert Grissett. She worked as a cook at The Ponderosa and David's Catfish and retired with 30 years of service.

Mrs. Williams is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Shavaughn) Williams and Ray (Kim) Williams, both of Atmore; two daughters, Barbara (Willie) Fountain of Walnut Hill, Fla. and Christy (Calvin) Brown, both of Atmore; two brothers, Nathaniel (Sheree) Powe and George Powe, both of Birmingham; two sisters, Julia Powe and Jacquin Lewis, both of Birmingham; 14 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousin and other rela- tives and friends.

Mrs. Williams was preced- ed in death by two sons, Booker T. Williams and Ricky Williams; her mother, Rosie Mae Mims; and one brother, Melton Powe, Sr.
