Curtis James Knowles, 67, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, in Brewton.
Mr. Knowles was a native of Century, Fla., and former resident of Lafayette, La., who had resided in Flomaton for the past 35 years. Retired from the oil field as a tool pusher with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the 1st Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ of Flomaton.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, at Petty- Eastside Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Colley and Bro. Farron Wilson officiating. Burial followed at the Little Escambia Cemtery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Knowles is survived by his wife, Angela Renee Knowles of Flomaton; two sons, Kenneth “Ken” (Hallie) Knowles and Bradley Knowles, both of Pace, Fla.; one sister, Shirley Petty of Flomaton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Knowles was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James and Fannie Estelle Knowles; two daughters, Kendall Grace Knowles and Carrie Elaine Knowles; and two sisters, Bobbie Jean Knowles and Barbara Lord.
