Howard “Snookie” Thompson, 82, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, in Pine Grove, Ala.
Mr. Thompson was a native of Walnut Hill, Fla. and former resident of Century who had resided in Pine Grove, Ala. Since 1976. Retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service, he had retired from the Alabama Department of Corrections with 20 years of service and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Grant Dyes officiating. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing....
