Billy George Griffis, 63, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, in Century, Fla.

Mr. Griffis was a native of Atmore who had resided in Century, Fla. for most of his life. Of the Baptist faith, he had worked as a truck driver, mechanic and jack of all trades.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Herring officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral home directing.
