Brunetta Bradford

Brunetta Bradford, 65, of Atmore, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at Atmore Community Hospital.

Mrs. Bradford was a native of Atmore, and 1972 graduate of Escambia County High School. She worked for many years at Vanity Fair and was a member of Gaines Chapel AME Church who enjoyed enjoyed fishing.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Gaines Chapel AME Church with Rev. Cleitus Walker, Sr., Pastor and Bishop Tommie Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.

Mrs. Bradford is survived by three sons, Ato (Lakeisha Brown) McCants of Pensacola, Fla., Calvin (Marketia) McCants of Atmore and Jeffery (Yolanda Johnson) McCants of Mobile; three brothers, J. S. Brown, Jr. and Gregory Brown, both of Atmore, and S. J. (Annie Rose) Brown of Phenix City, Ala; one sister, Bonnie Roberts Bazemore of Atmore; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her husband, Aquilla Bradford; her mother, Mae Fannie Brown; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
