Board of Education approves personnel changes

The Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education approved the following personelle changes at its Thursday, Nov. 21 meeting. The changes are as follows.

Recommendations

Approval to reinstate nine (9) sick leave days to Stacy Kelley, 7-hour lunchroom worker at Pollard McCall Junior High School, due to an on-the-job injury, effective October 21, 2019 through October 31, 2019

Leave of Absence

Kathy Douglas, 6-hour lunchroom worker at WS Neal Middle School, leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act, effective August 12, 2019 through October 11, 2019; Jean Chaloux, 8-hour custodian at Escambia County High School, leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act, effective August 21, 2019 through September 30, 2019; Marilyn Denise Allen, 6-hour lunchroom worker at WS Neal Elementary School, leave of absence, effective October 17, 2019 through May 22, 2020  

Resignation

Shakeena Bradley, math teacher at WS Neal Middle School, effective November 1, 2019

Transfer

Angela Roman, math teacher at Escambia County Middle School, to math teacher at WS Neal Middle School, effective at the direction of the Superintendent, no later than December 12, 2019 (Replacing Shakeena Bradley)
