Michael Wayne Parker, 68, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2019.
Mr. Parker was a native of Gulfport, Miss., and former resident of McHenry, Miss. who had resided in Atmore for the past 23 years. He worked as a self-employed contractor and was a member of Perryville Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 18. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne McQueen officiating. Burial followed at Judson Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Parker is survived by one son, Chad (Anitra) Parker of Poarch, Ala.; one daughter, Natalie (Chris) Lee of Poarch; one brother, Bobby (Brenda) Parker of McHenry; one sister, Mary Agnes Smith of McHenry; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Linda Rolin Parker; his parents, Modie and Doris Parker; three brothers, M.P. Parker, Bud Parker and Modie Parker, Jr.; and two sisters, Sue Parker and Dolly Edwards.
