The town of Flomaton's quest to build a new concession stand and bathrooms at Hurricane Park received a commitment from the town council to put up $25,000 toward the estimated $150,000 project.
Mayor Dewey Bondurant, Jr., told the council he's confident the county will put in $25,000, the school board may help with $25,000 and Poarch will put in $75,000.
Town Attorney Chuck Johns said the school board wanted to see drawings and also wanted to see the commitment from the town before it committed any funds.
