Stops yield five arrests

Traffic stops and the use of drug sniffing dogs led to the arrest of five people on drug charges over the past several days by the Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office.

James Tunstall, 61, 11296 Tunstall Road, Stockton, and Michelle York, 51, 56330 Stevens Place, Stockton, were both arrested Nov. 2 on drug possession charges. Sheriff's office reports state a deputy approached the vehicle and detected the smell of marijuana and saw a marijuana cigarette in the center console cupholder.
