Franklin Lamon Reaves, Sr.

Franklin Lamon Reaves, Sr., 83, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Reaves was born in Castleberry, Ala. and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past 53 years. A retired research technician at Monsanto, he attended Friendship Freewill Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman.

A memorial service was held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral home with Pastor Rusty Burnham officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jackie Cordelia Reaves of Flomaton; one son, Franklin Reaves of Foley, Ala.; one daughter, Kasey (Mark) Watson of Pensacola; one brother, Jacky (Carol) Reaves of Loxley, Ala.; one sister, Ann (George) Godwin of Tuscaloosa; and three grandchildren.
