Playing in the region finals tournament for the first time in the school's history, the Jay High School varsity volleyball team lost 3-1 to Baker Tuesday, following a 15-game winning streak and a win against Chipley in the semi-regionals.
“Although we lost four seniors the year before, we came out this summer, working every day the month of July to August,” said Coach Carey Locklin. “We played in the pre-season tournament and were the champions, which got us fired up.”
