Robert Joseph 'Bobby' Lee

Robert Joseph “Bobby” Lee, 76, of Flomaton, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Lee was a native of Marianna, Fla., and member of the Flomaton community for 48 years, after coming from McDavid, Fla. Working as a shift supervisor for 37 years with Jefferson Smurfit, he was a member of both the Flomaton United Methodist Church and National Guard and enjoyed the outdoors.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice P. Lewis Lee of Flomaton; one son, Robert E. (Anna) Lee of Flomaton; two daughters, Tonya Johnson and Kyleigh Shae Johnson, both of Flomaton; one sister, Catherine Joy Lewis of N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous family members and friends.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Early Ernest and Mittie Mae Bass Lee, Sr.; two brothers, Early Ernest Lee, Jr. and Carl H. Lee; and other family members and friends.
