William Etheridge Smith, 80, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 following and extended illness.
Mr. Smith was born Sept. 12, 1939, to William Robert and Bertha Etheridge Smith in Crenshaw County, Ala. A 1957 graduate of Dozier High School, he went to work for A and P in Andalusia and transferred to Brewton in 1958. He left the A and P in 1963 and went to work with Liberty National Insurance, retiring in 1999 after 37 years of service.
