Firefighters take advantage of realistic training at Flomaton Station
Firefighters from Flomaton, Century, Barnett Crossroads, Jay and Allentown were in Flomaton for three days this week participating in a training exercise utilizing a burn trailer provided by the Alabama Fire College.
The training exercises began Monday and were scheduled to continue until last night (Wednesday).
Flomaton Fire Chief Steve Stanton said the burn trailer comes to Flomaton, Brewton and Atmore at least once a year to help firemen train to enter burning homes and buildings.
