Molly Allen Norris, 81, of Atmore, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, in Pensacola.
Mrs. Norris was born July 23, 1938, to Robert “Bobby” William and Agnes Joiner Allen in Pineville, Fla. Employed with Hoehn Firestone Tire, the Atmore Advance and for Dr. Maxwell at Physician Associates of Atmore, she was a lifelong member of the Atmore Assembly of God Church, where she played piano and served in many positions, including her and her husband's ministry at Atmore Nursing Home, where she also volunteered at the beauty shop.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, at Atmore First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Burial followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband, Edgar D. Norris of Atmore; two children, Terry (Becky) Norris of Belforest, Ala. and Janet (Steve) McGill of Atmore; three sisters, Mary Lee (Robert) Morrison of Spartanburg, S.C. and Irene Goodman and Joyce McGraw, both of Theodore, Ala.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Norris is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Daniel Allen and Harold Allen.
