Glenn "Eddie" Edward Jerkins, Jr., 56, of Atmore, died Sunday, August 4, 2019, in a Florence, Ala. medical facility as a brief illness.
Mr. Jerkins was a native and lifetime resident of Atmore, Alabama, born April 20, 1963, and had many hobbies.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 16, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Father Patrick Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Jerkins is survived by his parents, Glenn E. (Evelyn) Jerkins, Sr. of Orange Beach, Ala. and Jeanelle Forte Mckissack of Atmore; one sister, Theresa Suttle (Ted) of Fairhope, Ala.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Jerkins was preceded in death by one sister, Matilda Diane "Tilda" Jerkins, four grandparents, Grady H. Forte and Lula Moye Forte of Robinsonville, Ala., and Howard and Bessie Findley Jerkins; and numerous family members.
