Victoria Skye DeSilvey

Victoria Skye DeSilvey, 28, of Atmore, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in Mobile.

Miss DeSilvey was born Nov. 28, 1990 to Roy Houston and Tammy Caraway Smith in Atmore. She was a homemaker.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 26, at McCullough Cemetery with Bro. Richard Daniels officiating. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.

Miss DeSilvey is survived by her mother, Tammy (Scott Godwin) Smith of Little River, Ala.; one brother, Chad Houston Alverson; one sister, Tara DeSilvey; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other extended family and friends.

sGracie Mae Gunn, 89, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

Mrs. Gunn was a lifelong resident of Bratt, Fla. She worked as a seamstress at Vanity, Fair, from where she retired.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 4, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Peebles officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery in Bratt with Petty-Eastside Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Gunn is survived by three sons, Michael (Joyce) Gunn and Wayne (Donna) Gunn, both of Bratt, and Steve (Linda) Gunn of Byrneville; two daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Jackson of Brewton and Sandra (Willie) Hughes of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, George Williamson of Pace, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Gunn is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Gunn; her parents, E.T. and Lillie Mae Williamson; one brother, Pete Williamson; and three sisters, Mary Denton, Louise Brantley and Ida Bell.
