Harvey James Rolin

Harvey James Rolin, 69, died Saturday, July 6, 2019, in Poarch, Ala.

Mr. Rolin was a native of Dallas, Texas who had resided in Poarch for most of his life. A member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, he was also a member of the Poarch Community Church.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, at the McCullough Christian Center with Bro. Corneluis Phillips and Bro. Walter Rolin officiating.s Burial followed at Judson Creek Indian Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Rolin is survived by two sons, James Wilson (Melinda Rolin) Wilson and Josh (Lindsey) Hammac, both of Poarch; two daughters, Keisha (Joey) lambert of Shreveport, La. and Tonya Whatley of Bay Minette; nine brothers, Ernest (Tina) Rolin, Roy Rolin, Walter (Anita) Rolin, Kenneth “Radio” Rolin, Anthony (Jennifer) Rolin, Deno (Necole) Rolin, Johnny (Ashley) Rolin, Shawn (Stephanie) Rolin and Aubrey “Tinker” (Tasha) Rolin, all of Poarch; three sisters, Peggy Couch, Virginia Bell Godwin and Tonya (Wesley Rayborn) Jordan, all of Poarch; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Rolin was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bessie Rolin; one brother, Donnie Rolin; and one grandchild.
