Franklin 'Frank' Carnley, Sr.

Franklin “Frank” Carnley, Sr., 76, died Friday, July 6, 2019, in Milton, Fla.

Mr. Carnley was a native of Perdido, Ala. who had resided in Bratt for the past 52 years. Working as a fish bait man and woodworker, he attended the Renovation Ministries in Huxford, Ala.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Carnley and Pastor Eddie Carnley officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Carnley is survived by his wife of more than 51 years, Cathy Carnley of Bratt; two sons, Eddie (Pam) Carnley of Perdido and Allen (Kim) Carnley of Nokomis; one daughter, Kathryn Carnley (Steve) Huggins of Bay Minette; one brother, Rev. Ron (Bonnie) Carnley of Pace, Fla.; six sisters, Evon (Henry) Crocker of Lucedale, Miss., Ethree (Jimmy) Taylor and Ruth Futrel, bot of Pensacola, Rachel Stewart of Dickerson, Texas, Mildred Carnley of Chumuckla, Fla. and Kay (Bill) Ham of Pace; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Carnley was preceded in death by one daughter, Krystal Carnley; and his parents, Fred and Annie Lee Carnley.
