Willie Morris Covan, 84, died Monday, June 17, 2019, in Milton, Fla.
Mr. Covan was a native and lifelong resident of Byrneville, Fla. A member of the Byrneville Methodist Church and had many interests and hobbies, such as traveling and the outdoors.
The funeral was held at 12 p.m., Monday, June 24, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. David Rowan officiating. Burial followed at Byrneville Methodist Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Covan is survived by his wife of 62 years, Velma Aline Covan of Milton, Fla.; one son, Radford (Tina) Covan of Pace, Fla.; one daughter, Recindia (Buck) McCormick of Milton; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Covan was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Hayes and Randy Covan; his parents, Howard and Alva Covan; one brother, Theodore Sherman Covan; three sisters, Deloris Shiverly, Virgie Mae Kenney and Annie Ruth Necase.
