Madison Christopher “Chris” Anderson, 61, of Castleberry, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at an Evergreen Medical Facility.
Mr. Anderson was born in Monroeville, Ala. and had been a resident of Castleberry for more than 40 years. Of the Pentecostal faith, he was a member of the Castleberry High School class of 1975. He worked as an electrician in the construction industry and was a U.S. Army veteran.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 10, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Peavy officiating. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni Ryals Anderson of Castleberry; one son, Jason (Summer) Anderson of Castleberry; one daughter, Christy (David) Black of Brewton; two brothers, Larry Anderson and Gerald Anderson, both of Monroe County, Ala.; and six grandchildren.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by one son, James Michael Anderson; his parents, James Edward and Hazel Ward Anderson; and one brother, Raymond Anderson.
