Laverne Lee Digmon, 76, of Flomaton, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Mrs. Digmon was born Sept. 19, 1942, to Lewis Alton and Fancha McCullough Byrd in Atmore. She retired from Rachel Patterson Elementary School as a lunchroom worker.
The funeral was held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Rolin officiating. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Digmon is survived by one son, Butch (Sandy) Lee of Flomaton; one daughter, Pam White of Flomaton; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Digmon was preceded in death by her husbands, Blue Lee and Paul Ray Digmon; and six siblings, William Byrd, Marion Byrd, Betty Crook, Corrine Walker, Lavina Colbert and Ola Mae Griggers.
