$1 million bond on trafficking

An Atmore man is in the Escambia County Detention Center on $1 million bond following an investigation by the Atmore Police Department that led to the seizure of 2.49 pounds of marijuana found inside his home Monday, June 3.

Gregory Thomas Nix, 65, 61 Point Escambia Ave., was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. District Judge Eric Coale set the $1 million bond during a hearing on Wednesday, June 5.
