Jesse Dorman Anthony, 80, formerly of Brewton, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at William F. Green Veteran's Home after an extended illness.
Mr. Anthony was a native of Conecuh County and former resident of Vermont before relocating to Brewton many years ago. Retired from the U.S. Army as a Vietnam vet with 25 years of service, he worked as a UPS truck driver and was of the Christian faith.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 25, with military honors, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Donnis Bowman officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Stevens Anthony of Brewton; one sister, Maxine Morgan of Century; three nephews, Donnis (Pat) Bowman of Flomaton, Wade Anthony of Brewton and Terry Anthony of Milton; and numerous other family members and friends.
