Ruby Faye Bell

Ruby Faye Bell, 75, of Pensacola, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Bell was a native of Conecuh County and longtime resident of Escambia County before she relocated to Pensacola six years ago. A retired waitress who had worked at the Cozy Corner Cafe for a number of years, she attended the Hanberry Holiness Church and Pensacola Deliverance Temple. She sang as a part of the Gospel Aires who sang on W.E.L.J. and W.T.J.T. radio stations.

The funeral was held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Pettis and Sis. Barbara Pugh officiating. Burial followed at Cannan Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Mrs. Bell is survived by two sons, Carl Edward Lisenby of Pensacola and Bryon Keith Sellers of Knoxville; one daughter, Maria (Michael) Blackmon of Pensacola; one brother, Wayne (Tammy) Bell of Decatur, Ala.; two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Elder of East Brewton and Sis Baker of Whiting, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Maggie Johnson Bell; three brothers, Joe Bell, Dan Bell and Robert Bell; one sister, Clara Williamson; and one grandchild.
