Scott Dewayne Bonds, 54, of Range, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Ala. after a brief illness.
Mr. Bonds was a native of Brewton and lifelong resident of Conecuh County, Ala. A 1983 graduate of Repton High School, he worked as a deck hand on tug boats, enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycles.
He was a member of the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 29, at the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Greg Smith officiating. Burial followed at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
Mr. Bonds is survived by his mother, Barbara Chavers (Calvin Dunaway) Bonds of Range; one brother, Reggie (Tammy) Bonds of Pollard; one sister, Sonia Bonds of Range; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends.
Mr. Bonds was preceded in death by his father, Comer Franklin Bonds.
