Thelma Thomas Morrison, 83, of Brewton, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Morrison was a native of Conecuh County, Ala., former resident of Jacksonville, Fla. and a longtime resident of Brewton. A 1954 graduate of Evergreen High School and former secretary for Judy Bond, she was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 4 p.m., Monday, March 4, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Edwards and Speaker Jerry Hawsey officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by one son, Tim (Kim) Morrison of Brewton; one daughter, Pam (Stan) Quimby of Brewton; one brother, Lee Thomas of Virginia; two sisters, Mary Ward of Pensacola and Ethel (William) Creekmore of Mary Esther, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
