Take a break from the usual dinner and come have pancakes at the Flomaton Lions Club semi-annual Pancake Supper at 5:30 p.m., Monday, March 4, at the Flomaton Community Center, located at 600 McCurdy St. in Flomaton.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any Flomaton Lions Club member or Tri City Ledger. All proceeds benefit the LEO Scholarship Fund. Plates will include three pancakes, two link sausages, syrup and a drink of choice from orange juice, milk or water. Coffee will be available also.
“The pancake suppers we host fund the LEO scholarship and other projects throughout the year,” said Flomaton Lions Club Vice President Jon Crews. “Where there is a need, there is a Lion, and we work hard to meet the needs of the community through service projects in our area.”
The Flomaton Lions meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Flomaton Community Center. Everyone is invited.
