Hurricane season ends

Flomaton High School's basketball team came short of setting the school record of 22 wins with back-to-back losses to Thomasville and Mobile Christian in the 3A state playoffs. The Hurricanes lost 53-50 to Thomasville at home on Feb. 7 and saw the season come to an end Tuesday night at Mobile Christian, 65-61. The 2018-19 Hurricanes set the bar high by tying the school record with 21 wins and had the highest offensive performance in Flomaton history with its 113-33 win over T.R. Miller High School.
