Sam Hudson, 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018.
Mr. Hudson was born May 24, 1942, to Willie and Victoria Hudson in Gosport, Ala. Employed with West Escambia Utilities, where he retired from, he was an advocate of vintage automobiles.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at Christian Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney Grant officiating. Burial followed at Pierce Rabb Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife, Margaret Hudson; four daughters, Shelia (Kenneth) Richardson of Louisville, Ky., Angela Hudson of Montgomery, Tammy Andrews of Frisco City, Ala. and Michell (Mickey) McMillan of Excel, Ala.; one brother, James (Alberta) Hudson of Atmore; four grandchildren; and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by one son, David Hudson; his parents; two brothers, Louis Hudson and Cecil Hudson; and two sisters, Willie Mae Harris and Mary McCoy.
