Gloria Virginia Long Cunningham, 86, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 in Atmore, Ala.
Mrs. Cunningham was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore who retired from Vanity Fair with 33 years of service. An avid seamstress, she was of the Holiness faith.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 17, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Joe White officiating. Burial followed at Serenity Garden Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by one son, Larry Bruce Cunningham; three daughters, Debra Smith and Sherry Lambert, both of Atmore, and Rita (Rick) Combs of Perdido, Ala.; one brother, Tommy C. Long of Crystal Springs, Miss.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her husband, James Bernard Cunningham; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris C. Long; and two brothers, J.D. Long and Charles Mabry Long.
