Body found is ID'd as McBride

The body of a female found dead in the Conecuh River on Dec. 9 has been positively identified as 74-year old Eva Lisenby McBride, who was reported missing from her Pollard home on Nov. 24.

The Santa Rosa County Medical Examiner released the identity Friday, but the cause of death has not been determined.

Capt. Bill Blair with the Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office said there did not appear to be any trauma to the body but the cause of death won't be known until the autopsy is complete.

McBride was last seen on Friday, Nov. 24 and reported missing by family members the following day.
