A new scholarship has been established in memory of Jerry Garrett.
Garrett died in 2016 at the age of 61 and was a resident of Castleberry for many years and worked with his hands, according to his daughter, Michelle Blackburn.
“Dad was known for being a jack of all trades and a source of knowlege for anyone, whether he could fix something or direct people where to go to have something repaired,” said Blackburn.
