With Adkinson absent, Sunday sales get unanimous support
For the third time the Flomaton Town Council has voted to ask the Escambia County legislative delegation to pass a local bill to allow the sale of alcohol on Sundays with Tuesday night's vote passing 5-0 with Councilman Roger Adkinson being absent.
At the council's Aug. 13 meeting the council voted 5-1 in favor of Sunday alcohol sales with Adkinson voting no. The council then learned from State Rep.
