Kelsie Taylor Padgett, 17, of Brewton, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, after an extended illness.
Miss Padgett was a native of Pensacola and lifelong resident of Brewton who was a member of Catawba Springs Church. A Flomaton High School student where she was a majorette and cheerleader, she was active in her community and church.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at Catawba Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Miss Padgett is survived by her parents, Jeremy and Tracey Chavers Padgett of Brewton; two sisters, Kaylee Padgett and Kensley Padgett, both of Brewton; four grandparents, Ed and Mary Chavers of Flomaton and Larry and June Padgett of Brewton; one great-grandparent; and numerous other family members and friends.
