EBP net marijuana arrest

A call from an East Brewton resident has resulted in a Castleberry man's arrest on drug charges. Tyrelle Ladarius Lee, 24, of 45 Colt Lane, was arrested for possession of marijuana II Wed., Oct. 24.

According to East Brewton Police Sgt. Paige Howell, East Brewton police officers received a call at approximately 1 a.m. from an East Brewton resident claiming the smell of marijuana was coming from a parked vehicle.

According to Howell, upon arriving on scene, officers approached the parked car, a silver Crown Victoria. After making contact with Lee, officers saw there was marijuana debris scattered over Lee's lap. Lee was asked to exit the vehicle and a search uncovered a clear bag of marijuana located in the driver's side door.

Lee was taken into custody and booked into the Escambia County Detention Center. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
