McEary Bowens, 53, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.
Mrs. Bowens, known by close friends and family as “Mickie,” was born July 25, 1965, in Los Angeles, Calif. Graduating from both the Ulysses S. Grant High School in Van Nuys and Trade Technical Beauty School, she received her certificate of cosmetology, followed by her state license. Employed at New Attitude Hair Salon in Los Angeles, she later pursued a career in telecommunication at Kasier Permanente Medical Center.
