Mary Frances Qualls Alverson, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018.
Mrs. Alverson was born July 14, 1933, to A.E. “Jack” and Stella Greer Qualls. Eventually a military wife, she was transferred to various military bases with her family, until she returned to Uriah, Ala. When her husband left to serve in the Korean Conflict, she became employed at Vanity Fair Mill.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
