Brewton woman says good, clean living helped lead to long life

Brewton resident Louie McLellan said living a good, clean life is why she's still living the good life at 101 years old.
Friends and family gathered Saturday afternoon at Country Place Senior Living to help Mrs. McLellan celebrate her 101th birtday.
Born and raised in Greenville, she met her husband Malloy while working at the river mill. They were married when she was 17-years old and moved to Brewton. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Brewton.
"I never expected to live this long," Mrs. McLellan said. "I've lived a good, clean life and I've never been in trouble."
