Odom holds his autographed bat
Flomaton's Cruz Odom, 17, played a lot of baseball growing up but probably made his most important catch on Aug. 28, in Atlanta when he hauled in Tampa Bay's Brandon Lowe's first career homerun in the big leagues.
Seated in the front row in dead center field, Lowe cracked the first homerun of his major league career and ended up landing in Odom's glove.
As soon as Cruz secured the ball a security crew came and took him and the ball to the visitor club. He was greeted by a representative from Tampa Bay.
