Donald Gordon Stewart, 80, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 in Bay Minette, Ala.
Mr. Stewart was a native of Rabun, Ala. and had resided in Bay Minette for most of his life. He was a member of the Crossroads Church of God.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Jimmy Sowell and Randal Short officiating. Burial followed at Lottie New Home Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Mayo Stewart of Bay Minette; one son, Lionel (Maranie) Rider of Whitehouse Fork, Ala.; five daughters, Shannon (Shane) Caraway of Atmore, Kristen (Jessie) Peacock of Whitehouse Fork, Heather (Lorne) Powell of Crossroads, Ala., Karen (Bobby) Wood of Pensacola and Andrea (Rusty) Roberson of Barnett Crossroads, Ala.; one brother, Roy (Frances) Stewart of Stockton, Ala.; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Elvis Stewart; and three sisters.
