Sherry Gibbs Morris, 79, died Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Mrs. Morris was a lifelong resident of Atmore who was a 1956 graduate of Escambia County High School. She later attended the Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Jefferson Davis Community College where she earned the award of “Super Nurse.” Although her career began at Greenlawn Hospital in Atmore as an emergency room nurse, she also worked with the Escambia County School System as the school nurse for Atmore and outlying areas and later with the Albert P.
