Merline Rabb, 78, of Enfield, Conn., died Friday, June 15, 2018.
Mrs. Rabb a native of Atmore who had lived in Connecticut since 1959. Retired from the Stanadyne Manufacturing in Windsor in 1981, she was a member of Community Partners in Action in Hartford, Conn.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 29, at Mt. Gillead Baptist Church in Freemanville with Rev. Gary Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Pierce, Rabb and Montgomery Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mrs. Rabb is survived by two sons, Michael (Kerri) Rabb of Brentwood, Tenn. and Norris (Debra) Rabb of Stamford, Conn.; two daughters, Patricia Rabb-Silva of Bloomfield, Conn. and Sheila Rabb Spicer of Enfield, Conn.; one brother, Willie (Hattie) Rabb of Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Veronice Rabb of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members.
Mrs. Rabb was preceded in death by her parents, David and Fannie Thames Rabb; and six siblings, David Rabb, Jr., Henry C. Rabb, R.S. Rabb. R.C. Rabb, Gloria C. Witter and Earline Rabb.
