Russell Wayne White, 70, died Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Nokomis, Ala.
Mr. White was born in Atmore and resided in Nokomis for most of his life. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he was a retired crane operator and of the Baptist faith.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, at Sullivan Cemetery with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial followed with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. White is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia White of Nokomis; three daughters, Teresa (John) Booker of Perdido, Tina (Michael) McGhee of Nokomis and Tonya (Johnny) Zrolin of Canoe; five brothers, Mike (Debra) White of Pensacola and Tony White, Ricky White, Wendall White and Terry (Sherry) White, all of Atmore; five sisters, Francine (Norman) Wilson of Nokomis, Nancy (Joe) Pace of Atlanta and Marsha Wright, Judy Godwin and Connie (Joe) Gibson, all of Pensacola; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren, due in December.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruby White; and one brother, Paul White.
